WILD BIRDS (COUNTY DONEGAL) ORDER, 1944.

WHEREAS it is enacted by subsection (2) of section 2 of the Wild Birds Protection Act, 1930 (No. 16 of 1930), that the Minister for Justice may by order made on the application of the council of a county or a county borough extend or vary in such county or county borough the close time in respect of all wild birds or any particular kinds or kind of wild birds :

AND WHEREAS the Council of the County of Donegal has applied to the Minister for Justice to make an order under the said subsection extending until the 1st day of December in every year the close time in the County of Donegal in respect of the kinds of wild birds hereinafter mentioned :

NOW, I GERALD BOLAND, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by sub-section (2) of section 2 of the Wild Birds Protection Act, 1930 (No. 16 of 1930), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Wild Birds (County Donegal) Order, 1944.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The close time in the County of Donegal in respect of the kinds of wild birds mentioned in the Schedule to this Order is hereby extended to the 1st day of December to the intent that the said close time shall be the period between the 1st day of March and the 1st day of December (both days inclusive) in every year.
