STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1944. No. 223.

MINISTER FOR INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE AND MINISTER FOR SUPPLIES (AGENCY) ORDER, 1944.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by subsection (1) of section 7 of the Ministers and Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 1939 (No. 36 of 1939), hereby order as follows—

1. This Order may be cited as the Minister for Industry and Commerce and Minister for Supplies (Agency) Order, 1944.

2. James Ryan, Minister for Agriculture, is hereby nominated to execute, during the period commencing on the 24th day of July, 1944, and ending on the 14th day of August, 1944 (being a period during which Seán F. Lemass, Minister for Industry and Commerce and Minister for Supplies will be unable to discharge the duties of his said offices), the offices of Minister for Industry and Commerce and Minister for Supplies.
