GAME PRESERVATION ACT, 1930 (PERIOD UNDER SECTION 27) (EXTENSION) ORDER, 1944.

I, Gerald Boland, Minister for Justice, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by subsection (2) of Section 27 of the Game Preservation Act, 1930 (No. 11 of 1930), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do hereby order as follows:—

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Game Preservation Act, 1930 (Period under Section 27) (Extension) Order, 1944.

(2) This Order and the Orders mentioned in the Schedule to this Order may be cited together as the Game Preservation Act, 1930 (Period under Section 27) (Extension) Orders, 1932 to 1944.

2.—The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3.—In this Order, the expression "the period to which this Order applies" means the period of two years mentioned in subsection (1) of section 27 of the Game Preservation Act, 1930 (No. 11 of 1930), and extended to the 30th day of April, 1944, by the Orders mentioned in the Schedule to this Order.

4.—The period to which this Order applies is hereby further extended by one year to the 30th day of April, 1945.
