CONTROL OF IMPORTS (QUOTA No. 10, TWELFTH PERIOD) ORDER, 1943.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Control of Imports Acts, 1934 and 1937, and of every and any other power them in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Control of Imports (Quota No. 10, Twelfth Period) Order, 1943.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The period beginning on the 1st day of January, 1944, and ending on the 31st day of December, 1944, is hereby appointed to be the twelfth quota period under the Control of Imports (Quota No. 10) Order, 1934 ( S. R. & O. No. 289 of 1934 ) (which relates to certain completely or substantially assembled motor car bodies or motor car body shells imported otherwise than attached to chassis).

4. Sixty articles to which the said Control of Imports (Quota No. 10) Order, 1934, applies, shall be the quota in respect of the said twelfth quota period.
