ADDITIONAL BENEFITS REGULATIONS, 1942.

Regulations made by the Minister for Local Government and Public Health under Sub-section (5) of Section 4 of the National Health Insurance Act, 1942 (No. 5 of 1942). Dated this First Day of October, 1942.

The Minister for Local Government and Public Health in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 1, Sub-section (5) of Section 4 and Section 14 of the National Health Insurance Act, 1942 (No. 5 of 1942) hereby makes the following Regulations, that is to say :—

1. These Regulations may be cited as the National Health Insurance (Additional Benefits) Regulations, 1942.

2. In these Regulations the following expressions have the respective meanings hereby assigned to them :—

The " Act of 1942 " means the National Health Insurance Act, 1942 .

" The Society " means Cumann an rachais Náisiúnta ar Shláinte.

3. For the purposes of sub-section (5) of Section 4 of the Act of 1942, the conditions relating to the period of membership of the Society and the number of contributions paid during that period shall be as follows :—

(1) that the member has been a member of the Society continuously for not less than three years ; and

(2) that not less than 104 contributions have been paid by or in respect of the member during the period of such membership.
