CATTLE (REGULATION OF EXPORT) ORDER, 1941.

I, SÉAMAS O RIAIN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Agricultural Products (Regulations of Export) Acts, 1933 and 1935, as adapted in consequence of the enactment of the Constitution, and of every and any other power enabling me in this behalf, hereby order as follows :—

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Cattle (Regulation of Export) Order, 1941.

(2) This Order shall come into operation on the 24th day of October, 1941.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3.—(1) It shall not be lawful for any person to export any cattle from any port in the State to Great Britain except to a specified port or place in Great Britain as directed by the Minister for Agriculture or a person duly appointed by that Minister.

(2) Every person who exports or attempts to export cattle in contravention of this Article shall be guilty of an offence under this Article and shall be liable on summary conviction thereof to a fine not exceeding twenty-five pounds for every such animal so exported or attempted to be exported.
