CONTROL OF IMPORTS (QUOTA NO. 1, SIXTEENTH PERIOD) ORDER, 1941.

The Government, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by the Control of Imports Acts, 1934 and 1937, and of every and any other power them in this behalf enabling, hereby order as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Control of Imports (Quota No. Sixteenth Period) Order, 1941.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The period beginning on the 1st day of October, 1941, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1942, is hereby appointed to be the sixteenth quota period under the Control of Imports (Quota No. 1) Order, 1934 ( S. R. & O. No. 230 of 1934 ) (which, as amended, relates to certain pneumatic tyres).

4. A total amounting to five thousand pneumatic tyres (being pneumatic tyres to which the said Control of Imports (Quota No. 1) Order, 1934, as amended, relates) shall be the quota in respect of the said sixteenth quota period.
