MILK (RETAIL PRICE) (CORK SALE DISTRICT) ORDER, 1941.

I, SEÁN F. LEMASS, Minister for Supplies, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the joint operation of section 52 of the Milk (Regulation of Supply and Price) Act, 1936 (No. 43 of 1936), and of the Minister for Supplies (Transfer of Functions under section 52 of the Milk (Regulation of Supply and Price) Act, 1936 ) Order, 1941 ( S. R. & O. No. 29 of 1941 ) and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do hereby, after consultation with the Minister for Industry and Commerce, order as follows, that is to say :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Milk (Retail Price) (Cork Sale District) Order, 1941.

2. In this Order the expression " the Cork Sale District " means the area defined in the Cork District Milk Board Order, 1937 (Statutory Rules and Orders No. 91 of 1937).

3. The maximum prices at which fresh milk (other than milk which is Highest Grade Milk within the meaning of the Milk and Dairies (Special Designation) Regulations, 1938 and 1939) may be sold or offered for sale retail under any set of conditions in any place in the Cork Sale District shall be prices calculated at the following rates :—

(a) Two pence farthing per pint during the period from 6th May, 1941, to 31st August, 1941.

(b) Two pence halfpenny per pint during the months of September and October, 1941.

(c) Three pence per pint during the months November, 1941, to April, 1942, inclusive.

4. This Order shall come into operation on the 6th day of May, 1941.
