MILK (RETAIL PRICE) (DUBLIN SALE DISTRICT) ORDER, 1941.

I, SEÁN F. LEMASS, Minister for Supplies, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the joint operation of Section 52 of the Milk (Regulation of Supply and Price) Act, 1936 (No. 43 of 1936), and of the Minister for Supplies (Transfer of Functions under Section 52 of the Milk (Regulation of Supply and Price) Act, 1936 ) Order, 1941, ( S. R. & O. No. 29 of 1941 ), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do hereby, after consultation with the Minister for Industry and Commerce, order as follows, that is to say:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Milk (Retail Price) (Dublin Sale District) Order, 1941.

2. In this Order the expression "the Dublin Sale District" means the area consisting of the County Borough of Dublin, the Administrative County of Dublin and the Urban District of Bray; the expression "bottled milk" means milk contained in closed receptacles for sale retail in such receptacles.

3. The maximum prices at which fresh milk (other than milk which is Highest Grade Milk within the meaning of the Milk and Dairies (Special Designation) Regulations, 1938 and 1939) of the kinds hereinafter specified may be sold or offered for sale retail in any place in the Dublin Sale District shall be prices calculated at the following rates:—

(a) Bottled milk if delivered to the purchaser otherwise than at the vendor's premises—Three pence farthing per pint during the period from 6th May, 1941 to 31st July, 1941; Three pence halfpenny per pint during the months of August and September, 1941; Three pence three farthings per pint during the months October, 1941 to April, 1942 inclusive.

(b)Milk other than bottled milk if sold or offered for sale otherwise than at the vendor's premises or if sold or offered for sale at the vendor's premises on terms that delivery thereof is to be made by the vendor otherwise than at the vendor's premises—Three pence per pint during the period from 6th May, 1941 to 31st July, 1941; Three pence farthing per pint during the months of August and September, 1941; Three pence halfpenny per pint during the months October, 1941 to April, 1942 inclusive.

(c) Milk other than bottled milk if sold or offered for sale at the vendor's premises upon terms that delivery is to be taken thereat—Two pence farthing per pint during the periods from 6th May, 1941 to 31st July, 1941; Two pence halfpenny per pint during the months August and September, 1941; Three pence per pint during the months October, 1941 to April, 1942 inclusive.

4. This Order shall come into operation on the 6th day of May, 1941.
