STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1941. No. 16.

BALLINA DISTRICT PROBATE REGISTRY (COLLECTION OF FEES) ORDER, 1941.

WHEREAS it is enacted by section 2 of the Public Offices Fees Act, 1879, as adapted by or under subsequent enactments, that the fees payable in any public office shall be collected either in money or by means of stamps, or partly in one way and partly in the other way, according as may be from time to time directed by order of the Minister for Finance :

AND WHEREAS the District Probate Registery at Ballina is a public office within the meaning of the said Act :

NOW, the Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 2 of the Public Offices Fees Act, 1879, as adapted by or under subsequent enactments, and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling, hereby orders as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Ballina District Probate Registry (Collection of Fees) Order, 1941.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The fees payable under any statute or rule of Court in the District Probate Registry at Ballina shall be collected by means of stamps.

4. All orders heretofore made under section 2 of the Public Offices Fees Act, 1879, in relation to the District Probate Registry at Ballina and in force immediately before the coming into operation of this Order shall, upon the coming into operation of this Order, cease to have effect in relation to the said District Probate Registry.

5. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of February, 1941.
