CREAMERY BUTTER (LEVY) (No. 3) ORDER, 1940.

I, SÉAMAS O RIAIN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Act, 1935 (No. 21 of 1935), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do by this Order make the following regulations :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Creamery Butter (Levy) (No. 3) Order, 1940.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The Creamery Butter (Levy) (No. 2) Order, 1940 (Statutory Rules and Orders, No. 252 of 1940) is revoked as on and from the 1st day of December, 1940.

4. The rate of levy on creamery butter manufactured on or before the 30th day of November, 1940, other than creamery butter which was put into cold store on or before the 2nd day of November, 1940, under and in accordance with an arrangement sanctioned by the Minister for Agriculture, shall be nine shillings the hundredweight and such rate shall come into force as on and from the 1st day of December, 1940.

5. No levy shall be payable on—

(a) creamery butter which was put into cold store on or before the 2nd day of November, 1940, under and in accordance with an arrangement sanctioned by the Minister for Agriculture, or

(b) creamery butter manufactured after the 30th day of November, 1940.

6. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of December, 1940.
