NON-CREAMERY BUTTER (PROHIBITION OF EXPORT) ORDER, 1940.

WHEREAS it is enacted by Section 31 of the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Act, 1935 (No. 21 of 1935), that the Minister for Agriculture may, whenever and so often as he thinks it expedient so to do, by order prohibit the exportation from Éire (either generally or to any particular country or countries) on or after a specified date of butter :

NOW, I, SÉAMAS O RIAIN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Act, 1935 (No. 21 of 1935) and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling do by this Order make the following regulations :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Non-Creamery Butter (Prohibition of Export) Order, 1940.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937) applies to this Order.

3. The exportation of non-creamery butter is hereby prohibited.

4. This Order shall come into force as on and from the 9th day of November, 1940.
