FISHERIES ACT, 1939 (SECTION 44) REGULATIONS, 1940.

I, SÉAMAS Ó RIAIN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers now exercisable by me under the Fisheries Act, 1925 (No. 32 of 1925), and the powers conferred on me by Section 44 of the Fisheries Act, 1939 (No. 17 of 1939), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do hereby make the following regulations, that is to say :—

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Fisheries Act, 1939 (Section 44) Regulations, 1940.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Regulations.)

3. In these Regulations the expression " the Act " means the Fisheries Act, 1939 (No. 17 of 1939).

4.—(1) The form of application for the issue of a licence in accordance with section 44 of the act to export salmon and trout for sale shall be the form shown in Part I of the First Schedule hereto and the particulars to be contained in any such application shall be the particulars relevant to such application which are indicated in the said form.

(2) The form of application for the renewal of a licence in accordance with section 44 of the act to export salmon and trout for sale shall be the form shown in Part II of the First Schedule hereto, and the particulars to be contained in any such application shall be the particulars relevant to such application which are indicated in the said form.

5. The form of the licence to export salmon and trout for sale to be issued in accordance with section 44 of the act shall be the form shown in the Second Schedule hereto.

6. For the purposes of section 44 of the act the register, required by the said Section to be kept by every holder of a licence or of a renewal of a licence for the export of salmon or trout for sale, issued by virtue of the said Section, shall be in the form set out in the Third Schedule hereto, and the particulars to be entered in any register so kept by the holder of such licence or renewal of a licence shall, in relation to any transaction (being an exportation of salmon or trout for sale from the premises specified in such licence or renewal of a licence), be the particulars, relevan to such transaction, which are indicated in the said form.

PART I.

APPLICATION FOR THE ISSUE OF A LICENCE FOR THE EXPORT OF SALMON AND TROUT FOR SALE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 44 of THE FISHERIES ACT, 1939 .
