CREAMERY BUTTER (LEVY) (No. 4) ORDER, 1939.

I, SÉAMAS O RIAIN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Act, 1935 (No. 21 of 1935), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do by this order make the following regulations :—

1. This order may be cited as the Creamery Butter (Levy) (No. 4) Order, 1939.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The Creamery Butter (Levy) (No. 3) Order, 1939 (Statutory Rules and Orders, No. 317 of 1939), is revoked as on and from the 1st day of December, 1939.

4. (1) The rate of levy on creamery butter to which this Article applies shall be three shillings and sixpence the hundredweight.

(2) This Article applies to creamery butter which was put into cold store during the month of October, 1939, under and in accordance with an arrangement sanctioned by the Minister for Agriculture.

5. The rate of levy on creamery butter (other than creamery butter to which Article 4 of this Order applies) shall be eleven shillings the hundredweight.

6. No levy shall be payable on—

(a) creamery butter which was put into cold store on or before the 30th day of September, 1939, under and in accordance with an arrangement sanctioned by the Minister for Agriculture, or

(b) creamery butter manufactured after the 30th day of November, 1939.

7. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of December, 1939.
