STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1939. No. 367.

INSURANCE (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1938 (AMENDMENT OF SECTION 18) ORDER, 1939.

WHEREAS it is enacted by subsection (2) of section 18 of the Insurance (Amendment) Act, 1938 (No. 31 of 1938), that the Minister for Industry and Commerce, if he so thinks fit, may by order made before the 1st day of January, 1940, substitute the 31st day of December, 1940, for the 31st day of December, 1939, in subsection (1) of the said section 18.

NOW, the Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 18 of the Insurance (Amendment) Act, 1938 (No. 31 of 1938), hereby orders as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Insurance (Amendment) Act, 1938 (Amendment of Section 18) Order, 1939.

2. The 31st day of December, 1940, is hereby substituted for the 31st day of December, 1939, in subsection (1) of section 18 of the Insurance (Amendment) Act, 1938 (No. 31 of 1938).
