COUNTY SCHEMES (OFFICERS OF DISTRICT HOSPITALS) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1939.

DEPARTMENT OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND PUBLIC HEALTH.

THE MINISTER FOR LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND PUBLIC HEALTH, in exercise of the powers vested in him by the Poor Relief (Ireland) Acts, 1938 to 1914, the Local Government (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1923 , and by every county or joint county scheme confirmed or amended by or in pursuance of the said last-mentioned Act, hereby orders as follows, that is to say :—

1. This Order may be cited as the County Schemes (Officers of District Hospitals) (Amendment) Order, 1939, and shall be read and construed as one with the County Schemes (Officers of District Hospitals) Order, 1927, and may be cited collectively together therewith as the County Schemes (Officers of District Hospitals) Orders, 1927 and 1939.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 , applies to the interpretation of this Order.

3. Article 3 of the County Schemes (Officers of District Hospitals) Order, 1927, shall have effect as if paragraph (ii) of the said Article 3 (which paragraph was revoked by Article 12 of the Boards of Public Assistance (General Regulations) (Amendment) Order, 1928) were restored thereto.
