STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1939. No. 119.

CHEESE (BOUNTY) ORDER, 1939.

WHEREAS it is enacted by Section 34 of the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Act, 1935 (No. 21 of 1935), that the Minister for Agriculture may from time to time by Order make regulations prescribing the rates of bounty under Part VII of the said Act on milk products, and may at any time by Order revoke any such Order, and may by such Order prescribe the date on which any particular rate of bounty shall come into force :

AND WHEREAS by virtue of Section 3 of the said Act raw cheese and processed cheese are milk products for the purposes of the said Act :

NOW, I, SÉAMAS O RIAIN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Act, 1935 (No. 21 of 1935), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do by this Order make the following regulations :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Cheese (Bounty) Order, 1939.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The Cheese (Bounty) Order, 1938 (Statutory Rules and Orders, No. 160 of 1938), and the Cheese (Bounty) (Amending) Order, 1939 (Statutory Rules and Orders, No. 14 of 1939), are hereby revoked as on and from the 1st day of April, 1939.

4. The rate of bounty on cheese (raw and processed) which is exported on and after the 1st day of April, 1939, shall be five shillings the hundredweight, and such rate shall come into force as on and from the 1st day of April, 1939.
