CITY OF CORK TAXIMETER AREA ORDER, 1939.

DEPARTMENT OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND PUBLIC HEALTH.

THE ROAD TRAFFIC ACT, 1933 .

SECTION 132.

The Minister for Local Government and Public Health in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 132 of the Road Traffic Act, 1933 , and in exercise of every other power in this behalf enabling him, after consultation with the Minister for Justice, hereby orders as follows, that is to say :—

1. This Order may be cited as the " City of Cork Taximeter Area Order, 1939".

2. The area described in the Schedule to this Order shall be a taximeter area for the purposes of Part VIII of the Road Traffic Act, 1933 .

SCHEDULE.

DESCRIPTION OF AREA.

The area consisting of the County Borough of Cork together with such portion of the County of Cork (including the urban district of Passage West) as lies within a circle with a radius of ten miles having its centre at the principal post office at Oliver Plunket Street in the said County Borough of Cork.
