STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1939. No. 69.

INDUSTRIAL ALCOHOL ACT, 1938 (APPOINTED DAY) ORDER, 1939.

WHEREAS it is enacted by subsection (1) of section 3 of the Industrial Alcohol Act, 1938 (No. 23 of 1938), that the Minister for Industry and Commerce may by Order appoint a day to be the appointed day for the purposes of the said Act:

NOW, the Minister for Industry and Commerce, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 3 of the Industrial Alcohol Act, 1938 (No. 23 of 1938), and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling, hereby orders as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Industrial Alcohol Act, 1938 (Appointed Day) Order, 1939.

2. The 21st day of March, 1939, is hereby appointed to be the appointed day for the purposes of the Industrial Alcohol Act, 1938 (No. 23 of 1938).
