MOTOR CARS (TEMPORARY IMPORTATION) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS, 1938.

The Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by the joint operation of subsections (4) and (5) of section 12 of the Finance Act, 1934 (No. 31 of 1934), and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling, hereby makes the following regulations, that is to say—

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Motor Cars (Temporary Importation) (Amendment) Regulations, 1938.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to these Regulations.

3. Paragraph 1 of the Motor Cars (Temporary Importation) Regulations, 1927 (Statutory Rules and Orders No. 44 of 1927), is hereby amended by the deletion of the words and figures "30th day of September" and the substitution therefor of the words and figures "31st day of October", and the said paragraph shall be construed and have effect accordingly.
