APPROVED SOCIETIES' AMENDMENT REGULATIONS, 1938.

(NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE.)

REGULATIONS MADE BY THE MINISTER FOR LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND PUBLIC HEALTH UNDER THE NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE ACTS, 1911 TO 1936.

Dated this 10th day of June, 1938.

The Minister for Local Government and Public Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by the National Health Insurance Acts, 1911 to 1936, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:—

1. These Regulations may be cited as the National Health Insurance (Approved Societies) Amendment Regulations, 1938, and shall be read as one with the National Health Insurance (Approved Societies) Consolidated Regulations, 1918 to 1932.

2. The following paragraph shall be added at the end of Sub-article 3 of Article 25 of the National Health Insurance (Approved Societies) Consolidated Regulations, 1918, and shall be read as one with that sub-article:—

"'In this sub-article the words "the due proportion" shall not apply to the inter-fund accounts with England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, the interest on which may be calculated, as the Minister may direct, at a rate other than that used in respect of the remaining accounts to which this sub-article refers.'"

3. These Regulations shall have effect as from the 1st day of January, 1933.
