IMPORTATION OF CARCASES (PROHIBITION) ORDER OF 1926 (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1938.

The Minister for Agriculture, by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in him by the joint operation of the Agriculture Act, 1931 (No. 8 of 1931), and of the Diseases of Animals (Ireland) Acts, 1894 to 1935, and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling, hereby orders as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Importation of Carcases (Prohibition) Order of 1926 (Amendment) Order, 1938.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1937 (No. 38 of 1937), applies to this Order.

3. The Importation of Carcases (Prohibition) Order, 1926 (Statutory Rules and Orders No. 66 of 1926), shall be construed and have effect as if in Article 1 and sub-article (3) of Article 5 of the said Order the expression " the Channel Islands " were omitted.
