CONTROL OF IMPORTS (QUOTA No. 13) (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1937.

WHEREAS it is enacted by section 11 of the Control of Imports Act, 1934 (No. 12 of 1934), that the Executive Council may at any time by order amend or revoke any quota order or other order previously made under the said Act, including an order made under the said section 11 amending a previous order :

AND WHEREAS on the 12th day of March, 1935, the Executive Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 3 of the said Act, made the Control of Imports (Quota No. 13) Order, 1935 (Statutory Rules and Orders, No. 59 of 1935) :

NOW, the Executive Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 11 of the Control of Imports Act, 1934 (No. 12 of 1934), and of every and any other power them in this behalf enabling, do hereby order as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as the Control of Imports (Quota No. 13) (Amendment) Order, 1937.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.

3. Part I of the Schedule to the Control of Imports (Quota No. 13) Order, 1935 (Statutory Rules and Orders, No. 59 of 1935), is hereby amended by the deletion in paragraph (d) thereof of the words " are more than one shilling and three pence " and the substitution therefor of the words " exceed two shillings ", and the said order shall be construed and have effect accordingly.

4. This Order shall come into operation as on and from the 24th of day of March, 1937.
