AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 4 OF THE SCHOOL ATTENDANCE ACT, 1926 . [14th March, 1936.] |

BE IT ENACTED BY THE OIREACHTAS OF SAORSTÁT EIREANN AS FOLLOWS:— |

The Principal Act. |
1.—In this Act the expression “the Principal Act” means the School Attendance Act, 1926 (No. 17 of 1926). |

|
Amendment of sub-sections (3) and (4) of section 4 of Principal Act. |
2.—(1) Sub-sections (3) and (4) of section 4 of the Principal Act are hereby amended by the substitution in each of those sub-sections of the words “the year 1940” for the words “the year 1936.” |

|
(2) This section shall have and be deemed to have had effect as from the commencement of the said section 4 . |
||||||||||
|
Short title and citation. |
3.—This Act may be cited as the School Attendance Act, 1936, and the Principal Act and this Act may be cited together as the School Attendance Acts, 1926 and 1936. |
