STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1935. No. 94.

LOCAL LOANS FUND ACT, 1935 (APPOINTED DAY) ORDER, 1935.

WHEREAS it is enacted by sub-section (1) of Section 2 of the Local Loans Fund Act, 1935 (No. 16 of 1935), that the Minister for Finance may by order appoint a day to be the appointed day for the purposes of that Act:

NOW, the Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sub-section (1) of Section 2 of the Local Loans Fund Act, 1935 (No. 16 of 1935), and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling, hereby orders as follows, that is to say:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Local Loans Fund Act, 1935 (Appointed Day) Order, 1935.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.

3. The 1st day of May, 1935, is hereby appointed to be the appointed day for the purposes of the Local Loans Fund Act, 1935 (No. 16 of 1935).
