BUTTER EXPORTING (EXAMINATION) ORDER, 1931, (AMENDMENT) ORDER, 1935.

WHEREAS ON the 1st day of July, 1931, the Butter Exporting (Examination) Order, 1931 (Statutory Rules and Orders, No. 44 of 1931), was made by the Minister for Agriculture under Section II of the Dairy Produce Act, 1924 (No. 58 of 1924):

NOW, I,SEAMAS O RIAIN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section II of the Dairy Produce Act, 1924 (No. 58 of 1924), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do hereby order as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Butter Exporting (Examination) Order, 1931, (Amendment) Order, 1935.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.

3. In this Order the expression "the principal order" means the Butter Exporting (Examination) Order, 1931, (Statutory Rules and Orders, No. 44 of 1931).

4. Article 7 of the principal order is hereby amended by the addition of a sub-paragraph after sub-paragraph (v) of paragraph (b), that is to say:—

"(vi) the temperature thereof."

5. Article 8 of the principal order is hereby amended as follows, that is to say:—

(a) by the deletion in sub-paragraph (i) of paragraph (a) of the figures "54" and "24" and by the insertion in lieu thereof of the figures "56" and "26" respectively; and

(b) by the addition of a new paragraph after paragraph (d), that is to say:

"(e) if manufactured on premises registered in the register of creameries or in the register of manufacturing exporters, and consigned to a place outside Saorstát Eireann without having been brought to a butter factory, the temperature of the butter must not exceed 52 degrees Fahrenheit."

6. Article 9 of the principal order is hereby amended by the addition of the words "or temperature" after the words "mould growths."

7. This Order shall come into operation on the 1st day of May, 1935.

8. The principal order and this Order may be cited together as the Butter Exporting (Examination) Orders, 1931 and 1935.
