THE ROAD TRAFFIC ACT, 1933 (DATE OF COMMENCEMENT) No. 6 ORDER, 1935.

DEPARTMENT OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND PUBLIC HEALTH.

WHEREAS by Section 2 of the Road Traffic Act, 1933 (in this Order referred to as " the Act "), it is enacted that the Act shall come into operation on such day or days as may be fixed therefor by any Order or Orders of the Minister either generally or with reference to any particular purpose or provision and different days may be so fixed for different purposes and different provisions of the Act :

NOW, THEREFORE, the Minister for Local Government and Public Health, in exercise of the powers so conferred on him, hereby orders as follows :—

1. This Order may be cited as The Road Traffic Act, 1933 (Date of Commencement) No. 6 Order, 1935.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1923 , shall apply to the interpretation of this Order in the same manner in which it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.

3. Sections 147, 148, 150, 151, 152 and 153 of the Act shall come into operation on the ninth day of March, 1935.
