APPRENTICESHIP ACT (BRUSH AND BROOM TRADE) APPRENTICESHIP DISTRICT ORDER, 1935.

APPRENTICESHIP ACT (BRUSH AND BROOM TRADE) APPRENTICESHIP DISTRICT ORDER, 1935, MADE BY THE MINISTER FOR INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE ON THE 2ND DAY OF FEBRUARY, 1935, PURSUANT TO SECTION 3 of THE APPRENTICESHIP ACT, 1931 .

WHEREAS it is enacted by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Apprenticeship Act, 1931 , that whenever the Minister for Industry and Commerce makes a special order declaring a trade to be a designated trade in any area, he shall by another order forthwith either constitute such area to be an apprenticeship district for the purposes of such designated trade or divide such area into two or more apprenticeship districts for the purposes of such designated trade :

AND WHEREAS it is further enacted by sub-section (2) of the said section 3 that before making an order under the said section constituting an area to be an apprenticeship district or dividing an area into two or more apprenticeship districts for the purposes of a designated trade which is a trade-board trade, the Minister shall consult the trade-board for such trade :

AND WHEREAS the Minister for Industry and Commerce has made the Apprenticeship Act (Brush and Broom Trade) Special Order, 1935, declaring the trade mentioned in the Schedule thereto to be a designated trade for the purposes of the said Act throughout Saorstát Eireann :

AND WHEREAS the trade declared by the said Special Order to be a designated trade for the purposes of the said Act is a trade-board trade :

AND WHEREAS the Minister for Industry and Commerce has before making this Order consulted the trade-board for the trade declared by the said Special Order to be a designated trade :

NOW, THEREFORE, the Minister for Industry and Commerce in pursuance of the provisions of section 3 of the Apprenticeship Act, 1931 , hereby orders as follows, that is to say :

1. The whole of Saorstát Eireann is constituted to be an apprenticeship district for the purposes of the trade declared by the Apprenticeship Act (Brush and Broom Trade) Special Order, 1935, to be a designated trade for the purposes of the Apprenticeship Act, 1931 .

2. This Order may be cited for all purposes as the Apprenticeship Act (Brush and Broom Trade) Apprenticeship District Order, 1935.
