STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1934. No. 261.

BEET PULP (RESTRICTION ON EXPORTATION) ORDER, 1934.

WHEREAS by virtue of sub-sections (1) and (5) of section 94 of the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1933 (No. 7 of 1933), the Minister for Agriculture may, if he so thinks fit at any time and from time to time, by order prohibit the export of wheat offals and of any other product capable of being used as a feeding stuff for animals save under and in accordance with a licence granted under the said section by the said Minister:

AND WHEREAS beet pulp is a product capable of being used as a feeding stuff for animals:

NOW, THEREFORE, the Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 94 of the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1933 (No. 7 of 1933), and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling, hereby orders as follows, that is to say—

1.—(1) This Order may be cited for all purposes as the Beet Pulp (Restriction on Exportation) Order, 1934.

(2) This Order shall come into force on the 1st day of October, 1934.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.

3. The exportation of beet pulp, save under and in accordance with a licence granted under section 94 of the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1933 (No. 7 of 1933), by the Minister for Agriculture, is hereby prohibited.
