DAIRY PRODUCE (FORM OF LEVY UNDERTAKING) REGULATIONS, 1934.

WHEREAS it is enacted by Section 3 of the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Act, 1932 (No. 10 of 1932), that the Minister for Agriculture may by order make regulations in relation to any matter or thing referred to in the said Act as prescribed or to be prescribed:

AND WHEREAS these regulations relate to a thing which is referred to in Section 16 of the said Act as prescribed:

NOW, THEREFORE, I, SEAMAS O RIAIN, Minister for Agriculture, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Act, 1932 (No. 10 of 1932), and of every and any other power me in this behalf enabling, do hereby order and make the following regulations, that is to say:—

1. These Regulations may be cited for all purposes as the Dairy Produce (Form of Levy Undertaking) Regulations, 1934.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of these Regulations in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.

3. Every levy undertaking under Section 16 of the Dairy Produce (Price Stabilisation) Act, 1932 (No. 10 of 1932), shall be in the form set out in the Schedule hereto, and shall contain the particulars, relevant to such undertaking, indicated in such form.

SCHEDULE.

DAIRY PRODUCE (PRICE STABILISATION) ACT, 1932

FORM OF LEVY UNDERTAKING UNDER SECTION 16.

WHEREAS............................................................ ............................................................ ....

of............................................................ ............................................................  (hereinafter referred to as the authorised person) is a person authorised in writing by the Minister for Agriculture to issue levy undertakings under the above-mentioned Act:

AND WHEREAS ............................................................ ...................................................... of ............................................................ .......................................................... (hereinafter referred to as the butter trader), being a butter trader within the meaning of Section 16 of the said Act, has sold on each of the dates specified in the first column of the Appendix hereto to the authorised person farm butter to the amount specified in the second column of the said Appendix opposite the mention of such date:

AND WHEREAS the butter trader is liable under Part II of the said Act to pay levy of £...........on the said farm butter which was acquired by him during the month of.......................19...:

NOW, the authorised person hereby in pursuance of Section 16 of the said Act undertakes on behalf of the butter trader to pay to the Minister for Agriculture not later than the 7th day of.....................19..., the said levy of £............
