STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. 1934. No. 175.

HOME GROWN WHEAT (INCREASE OF STANDARD PRICES) ORDER, 1934.

WHEREAS by virtue of sub-section (1) of Section 67 of the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1933 (No. 7 of 1933), and the Home Grown Wheat (Standard Prices) Order, 1933 (Statutory Rules and Orders No. 86 of 1933), the standard price per barrel for each sale (wheat) season set out in the first column of the Schedule to this Order is the price per barrel set out in the second column of the said Schedule opposite the mention of such sale (wheat) season:

AND WHEREAS it is enacted by sub-section (4) of Section 67 of the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1933 , that the Executive Council may, at any time before the commencement or during the currency of a sale (wheat) season, by order under the said sub-section increase the standard price per barrel for home-grown, millable wheat fixed by or under the preceding provisions of the said section in respect of such sale (wheat) season:

NOW, the Executive Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by sub-section (4) of Section 67 of the Agricultural Produce (Cereals) Act, 1933 (No. 7 of 1933), and of every and any other power them in this behalf enabling, do hereby order as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited for all purposes as the Home Grown Wheat (Increase of Standard Prices) Order, 1934.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.

3. The standard price per barrel for home-grown, millable wheat for each sale {wheat) season set out in the first column of the Schedule to this Order shall be increased to and be the price per barrel set out in the third column of the said Schedule opposite the mention of such sale (wheat) season.
