Moneylenders Act, 1933

Repeals.

24.—(1) The enactments set out in the Second Schedule to this Act are hereby repealed to the extent specified in the third column of that Schedule.

(2) Notwithstanding the repeal of the Moneylenders Act, 1911, effected by this section, section 1 of that Act shall continue in force as respects any agreement with or security taken by a moneylender before the commencement of this Act, or any payment or transfer of money or property made, whether before or after the commencement of this Act, on the faith of the validity of any such agreement or security.
