Limitations on guarantee and loans.

3.—The following provisions shall apply in respect of all loans guaranteed or made after the passing of this Act under the Principal Acts as amended and extended by this Act, that is to say:—

(a) the limitations imposed by section 2 of the Trade Loans (Guarantee) (Amendment) Act, 1932 (No. 12 of 1932), shall not apply in respect of loans so guaranteed or made;

(b) no such loan shall be so guaranteed or made after the expiration of five years from the passing of this Act;

(c) no loan of less than five hundred pounds shall be so guaranteed or made;

(d) the limitations imposed by sub-section (2) of section 1 and sub-section (2) of section 2 of the Act of 1924 as amended by the Trade Loans (Guarantee) (Amendment) Act, 1926 (No. 33 of 1926), shall not apply in respect of the loans so guaranteed or made;

(e) the total amount of the loans so guaranteed or made shall not exceed the sum of one million pounds.
