Provisions as to joint registered proprietors.

18.—(1) Two or more licensed bookmakers may be registered in the register of bookmaking offices as joint proprietors of any premises registered in that register.

(2) Whenever a licensed bookmaker becomes a proprietor jointly with the registered proprietor or proprietors of any registered premises, the Revenue Commissioners shall, on proof to their satisfaction of the facts and of the consent of the registered proprietor or proprietors, enter such licensed bookmaker in the register of bookmaking offices as a registered proprietor of the said premises jointly with the person or persons already registered as such proprietor or proprietors.

(3) Whenever one of the several joint registered proprietors of any registered premises ceases to be one of the proprietors of such premises the Revenue Commissioners shall, on proof to their satisfaction of the facts and of the consent of the other registered proprietors or proprietor, remove the name of the first-mentioned registered proprietor from the portion of the register of bookmaking offices which relates to such premises.
