LOCAL OFFICES AND EMPLOYMENTS (AMENDMENT)ORDER, 1930.

WHEREAS by the Local Offices and Employments Order, 1924 (hereinafter referred to as "the Principal Order"), as amended by the Local Offices and Employments (Amendment) Order, 1924, and the Local Offices and Employments (Amendment) Order, 1929, the Minister for Local Government and Public Health did, in pursuance of Section 15 of the Local Government (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1923 , apply the provisions of the said Section to the offices and employments set out in the Schedule to the Principal Order, as amended as aforesaid, and did make certain regulations with respect to the said offices and employments:

AND WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Principal Order as amended as aforesaid in manner hereinafter appearing:

NOW, THEREFORE, the Minister for Local Government and Public Health, in exercise of the powers vested in him by Section 15 of the Local Government (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1923 , and of all other powers in this behalf enabling him, does, by this his Order, order and direct as follows, that. is to say:—

1. Notwithstanding anything contained in the Principal Order, a local authority may, with the consent of the Minister for Local Government and Public Health, remove any person from any office or employment under them to which Section 15 of the Local Government (Temporary Provisions) Act, 1923 , for the time being applies.

2. This Order may be cited and referred to as the Local Offices and Employments (Amendment) Order, 1930, and shall be read and construed as one with the Principal Order as amended by any subsequent Order.
