THE LIVE STOCK BREEDING ACT (COLLECTION OF FEES) REGULATIONS, 1930.

WHEREAS it is enacted by Section 3 of the Public Offices Fees Act, 1879, as adapted by the Adaptation of Enactments Act, 1922 (No. 2 of 1922), that the Minister for Finance may from time to time make regulations for certain purposes respecting fees in any Public Office, and amongst others for the purpose of regulating the manner in which the fees, taken in money, are to be taken, accounted for, and paid over:

AND WHEREAS the Office of the Minister for Agriculture is a Public Office within the meaning of the said Act:

AND WHEREAS by virtue of the Live Stock Breeding Act (Collection of Fees) Order, 1930 (Statutory Rules and Orders, 1930, No. 87), fees payable in the Office of the Minister for Agriculture under the Live Stock Breeding Act, 1925 (No. 3 of 1925), are to be collected in money:

NOW, therefore, the Minister for Finance, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Section 3 of the Public Offices Fees Act, 1879, as adapted by the Adaptation of Enactments Act, 1922 (No. 2 of 1922), and of every and any other power him in this behalf enabling, hereby makes the following regulations, that is to say:—

1. These Regulations may be cited for all purposes as the Live Stock Breeding Act (Collection of Fees) Regulations, 1930.

2. The Interpretation Act, 1889, applies to the interpretation of these Regulations in like manner as it applies to an Act of the Oireachtas passed before the 1st day of January, 1924.

3. Fees taken in the Office of the Minister for Agriculture under the Live Stock Breeding Act, 1925 (No. 3 of 1925), shall be taken either in cash or in the form of a Postal Order or Post Office Money Order payable to the Paymaster-General at the General Post Office, Dublin, and crossed "/& Co.," or in the form of a cheque or Banker's draft payable to the credit of the Account of the Paymaster-General.

4. All fees taken in the Office of the Minister for Agriculture under the Live Stock Breeding Act, 1925 , shall be accounted for and paid into or disposed of for the benefit of the Exchequer in such manner as the Minister for Finance may direct.
