Powers of the Gárda Síochána.

25.—(1) A member of the Gárda Síochána shall be entitled at all reasonable times to enter any premises (not being premises registered in the register of exporters or the register of preservers) in which eggs are offered or exposed for sale.

(2) A member of the Gárda Síochána may inspect any eggs offered or exposed for sale in any place upon which he is entitled under the foregoing sub-section to enter or in any public place and may take and remove without payment reasonable samples of any eggs which are offered or exposed for sale in any such place and are externally dirty.

(3) Every person who obstructs or impedes a member of the Gárda Síochána in the exercise of any of the powers conferred on him by this section shall be guilty of an offence under this section and be liable on summary conviction thereof to a fine not exceeding five pounds.
