THE DUBLIN SWINE FEVER ORDER OF 1928.

(Dated 23rd April, 1928).

The Department of Agriculture and Technical Instruction for Ireland, by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in them under the Agriculture and Technical Instruction (Ireland) Act, 1899, the Diseases of Animals Acts, 1894 to 1914, and of every other power enabling them in this behalf, do, with the concurrence of the Minister for Lands and Agriculture, hereby order:—

1 Store Swine not to be moved out of Dublin Market.

1. Notwithstanding anything in Article 3 of the Dublin Swine Fever (Order of 1903 (hereinafter termed the Principal Order)

(1) No Swine shall be moved out of the Dublin Market except in accordance with the conditions prescribed in Article 3 (2) of that Order in respect of Swine sold for exportation or sold for slaughter ; and

(2) No Swine shall be moved out of the Dublin Market for exportation except Swine intended for immediate slaughter in Great Britain.

2 Private Sales of Swine not to be held without Licence.

2. Notwithstanding Article 8 (2) of the Principal Order, a Licence of the Department under the Dublin Public Sales and Lairs Order of 1900 shall be needed for any private sale of Swine held within the County Borough of Dublin.

3 Interpretation.

3. In this Order the term "Private Sale" shall have the same meaning as in the Principal Order as amended by the Dublin Swine Fever Order of 1903 Amendment Order, dated 30th November, 1904 ; other terms shall have the same meaning as in the Principal Order.

4 Commencement.

4. This Order shall come into operation on and from the date hereof.

5 Short Title.

5. This Order may be cited as "The Dublin Swine Fever Order of 1928," and shall be read as one with the Principal Order.
