WEIGHTS AND MEASURES (AMENDING) REGULATIONS, 1928.

Weights and Measures (Amending) Regulations, 1928, made by the Minister for Industry and Commerce pursuant to the Weights and Measures Act, 1904.

The Minister for Industry and Commerce, in pursuance of the powers conferred on him by Section 5 of the Weights and Measures Act, 1904, and all other powers him in that behalf enabling, doth hereby make the following Regulations :—

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Weights and Measures (Amending) Regulations, 1928.

2. These Regulations shall come into force on the date of the making thereof.

3. Notwithstanding anything contained in Article 3 of the Weights and Measures (Amending) Regulations, 1927, an Inspector or ex-officio Inspector of Weights and Measures may, throughout such period after the 30th day of April, 1928, and on such conditions as the Minister may prescribe either generally or for any particular district or districts, verify and stamp, under the provisions of Article 11 of the Weights and Measures (Standard Bottles) Regulations, 1926, any bottle to which that Article applies, and any bottle so verified and stamped shall be deemed to be lawfully verified and stamped during the period ending on the 31st day of December, 1928.
