STATUTORY RULES AND ORDERS. No. 17 of 1927.

MEDICAL ACT, 1925 (SEVENTH CONTINUANCE) ORDER, 1927.

WHEREAS it is enacted by section 2 of the Medical Act, 1926 (No. 4 of 1926) that the Medical Act, 1925 (No. 2 of 1925) shall, notwithstanding anything to the contrary therein, continue in force until the 21st day of August, 1926, and shall then expire unless further continued by an order of the Executive Council made under the said Medical Act, 1926 :

AND WHEREAS it is enacted by section 2 of the Medical Act, 1927 (No. 2 of 1927) that if the said Medical Act, 1925 , is continued in force until the 21st day of February, 1927, by the Executive Council under the powers in that behalf conferred on them by the said Medical Act, 1926 , then the Executive Council, if they so think fit, may, by an order made before the 21st day of February, 1927, continue the said Medical Act, 1925 , in force for one month from the said 21st day of February, 1927:

AND WHEREAS, by virtue of orders made from time to time by the Executive Council under the said Medical Act, 1926 , the said Medical Act, 1925 , has been continued in force until the 21st day of February, 1927:

NOW, THE EXECUTIVE COUNCÍL in exercise of the power conferred on them by section 2 of the Medical Act, 1927 (No. 2 of 1927) do hereby order as follows:—

1. This Order may be cited for all purposes as the Medical Act, 1925 (Seventh Continuance) Order, 1927.

2. The Medical Act, 1925 (No. 2 of 1925) shall continue in force until the 21st day of March, 1927.
