DEPARTMENT OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND PUBLIC HEALTH.

THE ELECTORAL (UNIVERSITY CONSTITUENCIES) ACT, 1936.

The Minister for Local Government and Public Health in exercise of the powers vested in him by sub-section (1) of section 4 and by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Electoral University Constituencies) Act, 1936 , hereby orders and prescribes as follows, that is to say:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Electoral (University Constituencies) Order, 1936.

2. The prescribed mark by which the name of any person, which in pursuance of sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Electoral (University Constituencies) Act, 1936 , is entered or retained (as the case may require) in an electors list, or is entered in the register of electors prepared therefrom, is to be distinguished in the said list and the said register shall be the letter " (U) " placed before such name.
