LIVE STOCK BREEDING ACT, 1925 (COMMENCEMENT) ORDER, 1925.

WHEREAS it is enacted by Section 22 of the Live Stock Breeding Act, 1925 (No. 3 of 1925), that the Minister for Lands and Agriculture may, by order, appoint a day to be the appointed day for the purpose of the Act, and the expression " the appointed day " when used in the said Act means the day so appointed :

NOW I, the Minister for Lands and Agriculture, in exercise of the power conferred on me by the Live Stock Breeding Act, 1925 (No. 3 of 1925), and of every and any other power me in that behalf enabling, do hereby order and appoint that :—

(1) The appointed day for the purpose of the said Act shall be the thirtieth day of September, 1925.

(2) This Order may be cited as the Live Stock Breeding Act, 1925 (Commencement) Order, 1925.

(3) The Interpretation Act, 1923 (No. 46 of 1923), applies to the interpretation of this Order in like manner as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of the Oireachtas.
