Transfer of Railways (Ireland) Act, 1890

Agreement for transfer of undertaking.

1. The promoters of any undertaking who have obtained from any grand jury[2] a presentment under the Tramways (Ireland) Acts, approving of the undertaking, may enter into an agreement with any railway company with any of whose railways the promoters undertaking is, or is intended to be, connected, for the transfer to and vesting in the railway company of the promoters undertaking, and this provision shall apply to agreements entered into both before and after the passing of this Act.
