Marriage Law (Ireland) Amendment Act, 1873

Extension of provisions of 26 & 27 Vict. c. 27. and 7 & 8 Vict. c. 81.

1. All the provisions of the said Act relating to the registration of places of public worship shall be deemed to extend and apply to places of public worship used by any such church or religious community as aforesaid; and all the provisions of the said Act, and of the Marriages (Ireland) Act, 1844, and of the Acts amending and extending the said Acts or either of them, relating to marriages between persons one or both of whom shall belong to any church, denomination, or body of Protestant Christians, so far as the same are now in force and applicable, shall be deemed to extend and shall extend and apply to marriages between persons one or both of whom shall belong to any such church or religious community as aforesaid.
