Alleged lunatic within jurisdiction to have notice, and may demand an inquiry before a jury.

13. Where the alleged lunatic is within the jurisdiction he shall have notice of the presentation of the petition for inquiry, or of the report and order thereon made under the provisions of this Act, and may, by a notice signed by him and attested by his solicitor, and filed with the registrar, within seven days after such notice had by him as aforesaid, or at or within such other time as the Lord Chancellor intrusted as aforesaid shall order in the particular case, demand an inquiry before a jury.
