Sellers and makers of gold and silver plate shall be licensed.

2. And for the better regulating and securing of the duty on gold and silver plate, wrought, made, or manufactured in Ireland, be it enacted, that every person who shall sell or make any gold or silver plate in Ireland shall obtain a licence for that purpose from the commissioners of inland excise and taxes in Ireland, or any one of them, [Rep. 35 & 36 Vict. c. 97.
